May 8
Time of Remembrance and Reconciliation for Those Who Lost Their Lives during the Second World War.

Remembrance and Reconciliation Day.
Today is a day of mourning all over the world.

War is always a grief. These are death, loss, destruction, tears, sorrow. This is not a holiday, this is not a reason to rejoice.

In Ukraine, May 8 is a memorial day set to honor the heroism of the Ukrainian people and their contribution to the victory of the Anti-Hitler Coalition in World War II.
Ukraine is now covered with bloody poppies. Our whole country is in complete wounds from russia's armed invasion.

Today is a victory day in russia, which they celebrate almost like the New Year. russia has a cult of war, death and violence. They dress their children in military uniforms, preparing them from childhood to go to war, kill and die.

For the whole normal world, war is a tragedy. This is a holiday for russians.
